The SPCA of North Texas
Creating stunning artwork for the SPCA of North Texas, known as the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center, was a wonderful collaboration and the outcome is magical. These works are all black and white photographs created by Suzanne Demaree Photographer with the intent to contrast the bold color scheme of the space. Some of these images are 10' x 15' in size and are located from floor to ceiling!
Imagery to create a better world for pets and pet parents is where I can help. It is very important to me to help your business prosper. I can do that with great imagery for your brand. I am also a human portrait photographer so bringing pets together with their people is my specialty!
White Ranch; A Conservation project documented for Awareness and funding
I was able to get a firsthand look at White Ranch, located in Mason County Texas, and the conservation work being done here. White Ranch is managed by Brian Wright who takes great pride in his work to keep this ranch sustainable for years to come. On this day we were most interested in the Texas Horned Lizards and photographing them in the wild to help gain awareness about the wonderful conservation project taking place to save them.
Kira Gangbin, a Ph.D. student with Texas Christian University is currently overseeing the Texas Horned Lizard Project at White Ranch. Kira and her team are studying the lizards in their natural environment to help in the larger project of breeding and reintroducing these fun creatures back into nature with numbers as they once were. Texas Parks and Wildlife, Fort Worth Zoo, Caldwell Zoo, Dallas Zoo and Pearland Nature Center are all working together on the breeding and then releasing of the Texas Horned Lizard here in central Texas.
Brian Wright is protecting the environment and the creatures who call White Ranch home and it is an honor to work with him. What a great place and I am excited for my work to be used to help keep ranches and wildlife abundant.
I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite images here. For the full story and more photography check out my BLOG post!
"Thanks again for coming out and for all the beautiful photos" Kira Gangbin
"Wow! You have some great pics! It’s going to take me a little while to go through them." Brian Wright
